We are the perfect place to host your birthday parties, showers, reunions, work meetings or memorials. Our cozy and inviting ‘Up North’ cabin radiates a warm and welcoming feeling for you and your guests. Consistently high quality food, combined with our professional friendly staff assures a successful event. At the Lodge, you customize your event menu by choosing items from our lunch or dinner menu giving you control of your price range and budget. Our goal is to work with you and within your budget by giving you the opportunity to create your own custom menu(s). We offer full bar service as well as an in house baker to design your cake. We will personally customize your event to meet your needs with three separate semi-private dinning rooms.   • Q: Do you charge a room fee?

    A: No, we do not charge a room fee. 

  • Q: How long can I use the room for my event?

    A: Three (3) hours is our standard allotted time for twenty (20) or more. We find this is more than enough time for most special events. However, if additional time is needed there is a $250.00 room fee per additional hour. 

  • Q: Can I request a specific room or area?
    A: We do our very best to accommodate your requested room however there is no guarantee for any specific area or room.
  • Q: What does a semi-private room mean?
    A: We only offer semi-private rooms as these areas do not have doors on them to close the room off completely from the restaurant.
  • Q: Can we bring decorations?
    A: Yes, you may decorate your tables. However, we do not allow confetti or tape, push pins, sticky gum, etc. on the walls.
  • Q: Do you offer gift, cake, and/or prize tables?
    A: Yes they are available for your event.
  • Q: Do you provide table linens?
    A: Yes. There is a linen fee per tablecloth of $6.00 (some colors available with advance notice).
  • Q: How do I go about creating my menu?
    A: Look over the lunch or dinner menu selections here on our website and choose three (3) items to include on your own personal menu. We will then design a menu especially for you complete with title, theme, food selections and colors of your choice.
  • Q: Why can I only choose three (3) items for my menu?
    A: Because all of our food is made fresh upon ordering a limited menu works best for a trouble free booked event. Our kitchen not only will be cooking your food choices for your party but also will be preparing meals for the main dining room in the restaurant.
  • Q: Can pizza or flatbread be one of my choices?
    A: Unfortunately, our pizza oven does not have the capacity to produce enough pizzas or flatbreads for large groups.
  • Q: Can I choose appetizers in addition to my three (3) menu choices?
    A: Yes, we encourage a selection of different appetizers be placed on the tables so that upon arrival your guests will be able to eat and mingle. Some of our appetizer will feed from six (6) to eight (8) people.
  • Q: Can I order desserts from your dessert menu for my party?
    A: Yes, desserts need to be ordered one week in advance.  We do our best when last minute ordering occurs but no guarantees that the product will be on hand.
  • Q: Can I have separate menu selections for the children in attendance?
    A: Yes, for children 10 and under you can choose from our kid’s menu and we will add those items to your customized menu.
  • Q: Can you provide a cake for my party?
    A: Glad you asked! Absolutely we would be delighted to bake your cake. We have our own in house baker who would love to decorate one of our fresh baked cakes for you. Please call regarding our flavors, sizes and prices.
  • Q: Can we bring in our own cake, cupcakes, or other desserts?
    A: Yes we only allow cakes but not any other types of desserts. We charge $1.50 per person for cake service on the confirmed number of your party if it is not our cake.
  • Q: Can I choose items from the Lunch menu at dinner time?
    A: We offer our lunch menu from 11 to 4 only, Monday through Saturday and our dinner menu is offered Monday through Saturday 4 to close and all day on Sunday.
  • Q: Some of my guests are vegetarian. How will you accommodate them?
    A: We are happy to provide vegetarian or other special menu choices, as needed, to please your guests
  • Q: Can I bring my projector for my meeting?
    A: Sure. Also, one of our rooms has an LED TV with an HDMI port.
  • Q: Can I use a coupon when paying for my booked event?
    A: Coupons, in-house promotions or any form of discounts cannot be applied toward payment for any booked event.
  • Q: Do you ever close the restaurant for private events.
    A: Yes please contact us for details.
  • Q: Can I host a cocktail party at the Lodge?
    A: Yes, of course! There is a minimum of 25 people along with required appetizers. They can be either passed or setup buffet style.
  • Q: What beverage services do you provide?
    A: Full bar services can be provided for parties large and small. To stay within your budget you have the option of choosing an Open Bar, Cash Bar, Limited Bar or No Bar. 
  • Q: What is the difference between Open Bar and Cash Bar?
    A: Open Bar means that as the host you will be paying the full tab of all the drinks served at your party. Cash Bar means that your guests will be paying their individual tabs for their alcohol consumption. A Limited Bar allows the host to limit the amount and types of alcohol offered.
  • Q: Do you offer punch for my event?
    A:  Yes, we have punch available. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic come in a two gallon size. The punch is mixed with a variety of fruit juices and a fresh fruit ice ring, displayed in a crystal punch bowl with sugar rimmed champagne glasses.
  • Q: Can I have wine or champagne placed on all of the tables?
    A: Yes, when ordering specific wines that we do not carry we will need a one week advance notice. However, we do have a wide selection of various red and white wines available.
  • Q: When do I need to decide on a final guest count? What happens if that number goes up or down?
    A: We require your final minimum guest count one (1) week prior to your event. This number will be used to establish ordering quantities for food, numbers of staff, etc. After this final guaranteed minimum number is given, we will make every effort to accommodate increases to your final count even on the day of your event. Your final billing will reflect the confirmed number or the actual count of guests whichever is greater.
  • Q: When do I need to reserve a date on your calendar?
    A: As soon as you have a specific date in mind, contact us to reserve that date on our calendar. Some events are booked a year in advance! We prefer 7 days advance notice to plan an event, although some can be arranged in less time.
  • Q: Do you do catering deliveries?
    A: We can bring our great food to you. Please call for details.
  • Q: Is a service charge applied to my bill?
    A: Yes, a service charge of 20% is added to the subtotal on parties of 20 or more.
  • Q: What if our company is tax exempt?
    A: To qualify as Michigan State Tax Exempt, you must provide us with the “MICHIGAN STATE & LOCAL SALES & USE TAX, Exempt Organization Exempt Purchase Certificate” Tax Form # 3372. Payment must be made by company check or a company credit card. We cannot accept cash payments for tax exempt organizations.
  • Q: How do I get started?
    A: Call us. We would love to hear from you and help you with your event in every way possible. Ask to speak to a manager and we can begin the process.
